Harley Meagley
Alpine Snowboard | Indoor Rowing | Skeleton | SwimmingHarley Meagley, a Navy Builder (E5) with 14 years of dedicated service, hails from Syracuse, New York, and now calls Virginia Beach, Virginia, home. In 2022, during a deployment, Harley faced the life-altering loss of his right foot. However, he discovered newfound strength through adaptive sports, with skateboarding (his passion since 1998) at the core of his recovery. Competing for USSOCOM, Harley earned 12 medals in the 2023 Warrior Games and another 7 at the 2024 Warrior Games. Looking ahead to the Invictus Games, he continues to push his limits and hopes to inspire others facing their own challenges.
What does the Invictus Games mean to you?
Invictus Games is about resilience and pushing past the limits. After losing my foot, adaptive sports helped me rebuild. Competing alongside fellow veterans shows me that with determination anything is possible.
