Jackson Williams
Biathlon | Cross Country Ski | Indoor Rowing | SVBJackson Williams enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2010 as an 18X, dedicating his service to Fort Liberty, though he never quite got used to the humidity. On July 31, 2017, his life changed when he sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI) that led to a 518-day hospital stay. Throughout his recovery, Jackson was supported by a remarkable network of people, both in the medical field and through the Military Adaptive Sports (MAS) program, which introduced him to an inspiring community.
Now, Jackson dedicates his career to helping others with disabilities. His mission is to ensure that people don’t just experience their limitations but find ways to overcome them, using his own journey as a source of motivation for others. Through his work, he continues to make an impact, just as others helped him along the way.

Invictus Games, to me, shows that mental and physical disabilities and injuries are just another challenge to overcome. We are proof that the only failure is when you quit!
